Dr. Meir Tako
Award-winning chiropractor, Dr. Meir Tako takes an unconventional approach to chiropractic medicine by delving beyond the simple chiropractic adjustment by incorporating neurology and other disciplines to treat patients and restore overall health and wellness. Dr. Tako is recognized for his ability to think outside the box, find the root cause of issues, and bring answers to patients.
Dr. Tako’s practice is founded on the notion that most muscular-skeletal conditions in the body originate from neurological dysfunction. This is thanks to his extensive patient care experience and from his personal experience with a debilitating shoulder injury. here are five main threats to modern health; chemical toxicity, heavy metal toxicity, food intolerances or allergies, scars and immune challenges. He also incorporates P-DTR (Proprioceptive – Deep Tendon Reflex) into his practice, a tradition stemming
Practicing since 1998, Dr. Meir Tako, DC, CCSP is a Board-Certified Chiropractor and Certified Sports Practitioner. After receiving his B.S.C. in Biochemistry from Ben Gurion University in Israel, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer West College of Chiropractic in San Jose, California. He holds a certificate in Applied Clinical Nutrition, and he is the recipient of both the 2012 Impact Award and the 2013 Practitioner of the Year award from Standard Process Inc.
We are pleased to share a message from Dr. Tako:
Over the years, I have observed that chiropractic adjustments alone are no longer sufficient to treat certain illnesses or chronic pain. The chemical toxicity of our world, combined with our nutritional deficiencies, has caused our bodies to become weak and even more susceptible to disease. This is why I incorporate kinesiology, functional neurology, muscle testing and nutrition into my treatment approach. These techniques allow me to identify the underlying root causes of disease and help support your condition and improve your health naturally. My practice is built from patient referrals in recognition of results. Patients want to return to their active lives as soon as possible, and I am committed to helping them get there quickly.

A note from Nessia:
“I have a strong dedication to health and wellness and believe that it is our given right to be healthy, free of disease and illness, to live vibrant, energetic, and happy lives. Today’s world is filled with many challenges. We have copious amounts of stress at home, at work, and with relationships but we are also inundated with environmental stress, such as toxins in our air, food and water. We live in a world of high demands, and our population is getting sicker and sicker. My commitment to health is to support and educate people in a way that brings them back to a natural state of balance. By considering the impacts of seemingly unrelated factors to your health, it’s important to address the whole system. I work with patients to put together a holistic health plan that takes every aspect of health into consideration. This is not a one-size-fits-all approach, instead a highly customized holistic health perspective that takes your unique specifications into account to trigger healing from the cellular level.”
